The Programme features a BSc (Hons) named degree which helps students analyse and understand ideas, theories, methods and debates in this area. The Studies degree gives students an understanding of contemporary global concerns and of the political, economic, environmental and cultural dynamics of the global system. The university provides socially relevant degree programmes in the Social Sciences aimed at meeting the needs of the fast-growing Nigerian economy.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
The faculty of social science offers courses that runs for four years and admission into any department requires
that candidates must obtain credit passes in five Ordinary Level subjects including English Language, Literature in English, Government/History and at least a pass in Mathematics but for those who opt for psychology, a credit pass in biology or health science and mathematics is required.
