Faculty of Education is the parent body of the Department of Physical Science Education. The department is an off shoot of the former department of Psychology, Guidance and Counselling, Measurement and Evaluation. In March 2014 there was a review and restructuring of the department in line with the bench mark of National University Commission (NUC) which led to the creation of three (3) departments out of the former one.
The department of Physical Science Education offers course leading to the award of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Education with teaching subjects in Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics.
Admission into the programme is either by Universal Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or ;by Direct Entry candidates with NCE admitted to do the 3 years or 2 years degree programme depending upon the entry qualifications.
